Letter from The Secretary of Agriculture

Dear Fairgoers:

Welcome to the 2025 New Jersey Fair Season! I appreciate you visiting our county and state fairs that showcase agriculture in New Jersey. There is much to see and experience once you set foot on the fairgrounds. Every agricultural fair in the state has a special place in the community in which it resides as they are reflections of the agriculture presence both past and present in their area.

The many fairs are the result of countless hours of planning and collaboration between a vast number of volunteers, businesses, and local and county government officials pulling together to make this year's fairs even better than the last. The fair is a place for each of us to be educated and enlightened about agriculture in the Garden State. They are venues to have pure fun, be it walking the midway, enjoying family and friends, or treating yourself to the best fair food favorites.

Your support is vital, and the organizations and businesses involved appreciate your attendance. I know your visit will be rewarding and you will be glad you visited. We encourage you to attend as many of our fairs as you can.

Sincerely,

Ed Wengryn

Secretary to the NJ State Department of Agriculture
